Happy 3rd Birthday Ahora y Siempre, Inc.

AyS3Happy 3rd Birthday Ahora y Siempre! We are finding it impossible to start this post without saying that we can’t believe we are entering year #3!

The past 3 years have been nothing short of remarkable. We can’t express how proud we are of our staff for their personal and professional growth. Ahora y Siempre, Inc. is based in Dallas but over the last year opened a second location in Del Rio, TX.

In the next year we hope to establish the systems necessary to operate effectively as a mid-size HCS/TxHmL Provider. Some of the systems that had been in operation over the last year were developed to help a small provider ‘keep on keeping.’ Ahora y Siempre, Inc. has grown at a remarkable rate, shattering all kinds of records. In the Spring of 2014, we enrolled over 30 new clients into our organization. In the 10 years Francisco has been in the field, he has never seen this happen before. This growth has challenged the systems under which we’ve operated and we’ve come to learn that some of those systems are no longer appropriate, so we are making changes. These systematic changes should be seamless; therefore you should not experience any disruption of services.A 3rd Birthday Greeting from our directors. Check it out!

“The #3 is and always will be a very special number in my life. In this 3rd year of her existence, Ahora y Siempre, Inc. will continue to offer more than just high quality services to our consumers. Our belief that high quality services should be the standard mode of operation remains. We will continue to offer the necessary education so that any person who has ever been served through Ahora y Siempre, Inc. will have the tools and knowledge necessary to navigate the complex world of IDD services. We will continue to express our appreciation for our employees. It is ultimately our employees who keep this ship moving forward.” Francisco Gonzalez, Program Director and Owner said.

Finally and once again, we cannot finish without expressing the infinite gratitude that is owed to all our consumers who allow us to be a part of their lives. Many agencies join the life of a consumer to enrich his or her life. We believe that the road of life enrichment is a two –way street. Not only do we join your life to help you, but you enrich our lives every day with your abilities, your strength and your perseverance. Thank you for always being an inspiration to us all! Here’s to a MONUMENTAL 3rd anniversary.

With much appreciation

Happy Birthday AyS!

2 year Anniversary

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AHORA Y SIEMPRE! It is hard to believe that Ahora y Siempre, Inc (AyS) has been in operation for two years now. I don’t think any of us as directors and now as employees of AyS who knew two years ago that AyS was coming, could have ever imagined that it would grow the way it did. Over the next few years the hope is that AyS will continue to grow and more importantly to change the lives of those who invite us into their homes. AyS was started with the idea that “…high quality services alone are no longer good enough.” So our goal has been and will continue to be, to educate our clients and anyone who will listen about the rights and responsibilities each individual has that is served through these waiver programs. Nothing is more important than having knowledge about what services are available and what demands each client can make of his or her provider agency. There have been many exciting things happen at AyS over the last two years. Perhaps the most memorable is one that repeats itself each day; the personal and professional growth of our staff. Entering the world of HCS is like leaving everything you’ve ever known and having to learn a whole new language. For many people it is very difficult to make this transition. This is why so many providers have what is called a “revolving door” of employees. When I look at our staff and see where they started and where they are now, I can’t help but feel overwhelmed with a sense of pride and gratitude for how far along they have each come individually. We continue to face the same challenges regularly. Perhaps the most taxing of these challenges is getting families who have been burned out by the system to open up to us and allow us to serve them in a compassionate, open and faithful manner. Many of the people we serve have been let down by other agencies and that puts us in a place where we have to regain their trust for something we never did to lose it to begin with. Over the coming years we hope to continue our mission of education coupled with high quality services.

I cannot end this note without expressing our gratitude. When I say “our,” I don’t hesitate to speak for every AyS employee. We are all incredibly grateful for the opportunities our clients give us regularly, to serve them, to enter their homes and to be a part of their families.  Progress, coupled with the opportunity, to be a part of your family is the fuel that keeps us going each day. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for everything you do for us!
